This charming story begins with Mrs. Ziggawat looking at a calendar, pointing to day 7 when her beloved child will arrive. She hurries off to prepare his room which is now empty. As the book explains, this is all a mashal, a parable, to help understand how Hashem created the world in preparation for us, with so much love!
